IQADOT on your Android device
Make sure that your device has the latest version of Android installed and that you are online.
Step 1: Registering your device
The IQADOT network interacts with you using notifications that are sent to your device. The registration process is done automatically if you are online.
Step 2: Joining the IQADOT network
Now that your device has been registered, you need to join the IQADOT network with your personal information. You’ll need to sign in using an online account. If you don’t have any of these accounts depicted here, please create one.
Tap on one of the account types that you want to use. In this example we will use Google.
Step 3: Sign in consent
IQADOT needs your permission to route you through the IQADOT network to the Google login page. This is done by using a Webbrowser on your device. Preferably use the Chrome browser if you are prompted.
Note: IQADOT relies on your account provider to log you in. Please allow this crucial step to complete.
Step 4: Login
Once your browser has loaded the Google login page, Google will ask your consent to allow IQADOT to retrieve personal information about your account. Currently, IQADOT requires your Name, E-mail address and Profile photo.
Step 5: Optional steps
Having logged in to your Google account, with your consent, the registration process has been completed.
IQADOT will ask you if you want to set your location. This is optional.
IQADOT will ask you if you want to connect to channels now. This is optional.
Step 6: Setup done
You’re all set to go.
Step 7: App permissions
IQADOT requires permissions to use storage on your device and the camera if you want to take or attach photos to your questions and answers.
- On your device, go to Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> App info
- Locate and tap on IQADOT ->Permissions and make sure the permissions are set like shown here:
